Nba live 14. Responding to player feedback, NBA LIVE 15 is doubling down on visuals and offering 500+ core gameplay improvements to deliver a truly fluid, fun and authentic basketball gaming experience. In addition, best-in-class online game modes and LIVE's Synergy Sports partnership gives gamers the most up-to-date and immersive NBA experience, all season. (Think especially NBA Live 10 and NBA Live 09.) But it's not the great leap forward that EA needs to make. Today I play a lot of NBA Live 16, and I see a lot of similarities between Live 15 and Live 16. I bought the game in March 2016 more for posterity than anything, as I'm collecting every sim basketball game for the PS3 and PS4. The second installment of the boxing series from Electronic Arts. The game brings improved audiovisuals, enables us to create our own boxer and lead them to the top in career mode, as well as prove ourselves in the ring as one of the discipline's legends.

Mechanics

Knockout Kings 2000 gives the players great control over the character's fists. Moving around the ring is assigned to the controller d-pad, while action buttons represent different types of blows. By pressing them in the right combination, players can create longer series of attacks, useful for breaking enemy defense and knocking them out when weakened. In addition, the creators assigned characteristic special abilities to each boxer. Some have reinforced attacks or deadly combos, others have increased resistance for a short time or become faster and harder to hit.

Game modes

Knockout Kings 2000 offers a number of game modes. Players can face artificial intelligence or a companion in a simple duel between two fighters of the same weight, or abandon all rules and limitations in the arcade Slugfest mode. The main mode is the career where sports enthusiasts can create their virtual avatar and lead them on their way to the champion's belt. Between the subsequent ranking duels, the young boxer takes part in trainings, honing his skills and gaining points, which can then be distributed in several categories.

In a special mode, the creators made it possible to fight the most famous duels of the past. Players can prove themselves in several fights that have become legendary, such as Rocky Marciano versus Archie Moore from 1955 or Muhammad Ali versus Joe Frazier from 1975.

Technical aspects

Electronic Arts took care to build the right envelope around the game, trying for the best possible representation of real battles. The game features, e.g. the well known entries of fighters, accompanied by music hits and noise in the stands. The game offers several dozen licensed fistsfighters, both those famous decades ago and the best fighters of the end of the 20th century. The soundtrack for Knockout Kings 2000 included mainly hip-hop tracks. The fights are commented on by the duo Al Albert and Sean O'Grady.
